About ME
Aria Diagnostics Clinical Testing Lab, founded and led by Vipin Adhlakha, is a leader in the medical diagnostics field, focusing on complex laboratory testing. Everything from standard blood chemistry and hematology to specialized molecular and urine toxicology testing is available through the company. Testing.
Mr. Adhalakha grew up on the South Side of Chicago, where there was a racially and ethnically mixed community. Relating to Indiana with his family when he was a sophomore changed his life forever. Adhlakha's fascination with science led him to pursue a degree in biology at Indiana University Bloomington, a top research institution in the United States.
The fact that biology encompasses several other disciplines, like genetics, ecology, and microbiology, piqued Vipin's interest. Studying plant and animal life and learning how to use its processes, behaviors, and functions to benefit humanity are only two examples of the numerous valuable uses of biology.
Vipin's current line of work in clinical molecular diagnostics began with his decision to focus on genomics (the study of organisms' genetic sequence information). This branch of human biology includes the diagnostic testing of molecular biology to determine the human, viral, genetic, and encoded composition of organic substances.
Functions Currently Performed
Vipin Adhlakha decided to focus his studies on molecular biology, a branch of biology that integrates testing, analysis, and application with living biology (at all scales, from the molecular to the ecosystem). Mr. Adhlakha, as a founding executive of Aria Diagnostics Clinical Testing Lab, is responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day operations and ensuring that all tests and diagnostics are performed under professional and government requirements.
Adhlakha and his business partners have worked tirelessly to earn CAP accreditation, CLIA certification, and ISO compliance for Aria, ensuring that the company's pathology and laboratory services are of the highest possible quality and that patients are protected at all times. During the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, the company played a significant role by providing essential public information that prioritized knowledge over fear and becoming an accurate, inexpensive, same-day testing center for COVID-19 variants such as Omicron and Delta.
Scholarly Histories
Vipin earned his B.S. in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington in 1998. He also minored in chemistry and studied classical studies. From the start, Vipin's time in Indiana was a thrilling odyssey. He expanded his circle of professional friends and contacts through his many affiliations at this institution.
Later, in 2000, he graduated with a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from Purdue University. Graduate student research is a highlight of Purdue's Department of Biological Sciences, the largest department in the Life Sciences division. Vipin Adhlakha's curiosity and research in the biological sciences piqued his interest in microbiology. He began to see how studying microbes is crucial to understanding and ameliorating problems as diverse as global warming and food poisoning and the etiology and treatment of disease.
Adhlakha's first employment out of college was as an Application Engineer for Agilent Technologies' Genomic Products Division.
Vipin's upbringing emphasized the value of helping others, a lesson he learned from his parents. He was a counselor and instructor at a science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) camp for disadvantaged high school students for three consecutive summers. He feels accomplished for introducing people from underrepresented groups in metropolitan areas to the many rewarding careers available to those majoring in the natural sciences.
Adhlakha was also a member of the board of directors for NetSAP DC, which brings together professionals from Asia to participate in social and professional activities such as book discussions, volunteer projects, and networking mixers. Being a member of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community, he knows how crucial it is to stay connected with his friends and offer them his support as they face the many difficulties their communities face today.
Vipin Adhlakha also helped establish a virtual network for his fellow Indians working in the biomedical and pharmaceutical sectors by co-founding an organization for them. In addition to informing its members about the latest in secure and efficient healthcare technology, the group actively supports and promotes research and development initiatives led by Indian experts.
Highlights from My Own Life and the Things That I'm Interested In
Mr. Adhlakha places a premium on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. He's spent his entire adult life competing and winning various running events. In 2012, Vipin began competing in triathlons, a multisport contest combining swimming, cycling, and running across multiple lengths. Triathlons test an athlete's cardiovascular fitness and muscular and mental fortitude. Triathlons are a great way to gauge your overall health and stamina.
Adhlakha has participated in several half Iron Man contests, in which he has swum 1.2 miles (1.9K), biked 56 miles (90K), and ran 13.1 miles (21K) (21.1K). Adhlakha plans his diet and workouts meticulously to give himself the best chance of finishing these competitions.
